During the Everest View Panorama trek you will see Mount Everest and Ama Dablam from Everest View Hotel and Tengboche. In Tengboche visit the famous local monastery.

Outline Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival Kathmandu
Day 02: Flight Kathmandu to Lukla, trek to Phakding(2840m)
Day 03: Phakding to Namche Bazar(3440m)
Day 04: Namche Bazar to Everest View Hotel to Khumjung(3800m)
Day 05: Khumjung to Monjo(2835m)
Day 06: Monjo to Lukla(2800m)
Day 07: Lukla to Kathmandu
Day 08: Kathmandu Departure

Day 01 Arrival Kathmandu (1320m): Meet our representative at Kathmandu airport and transfer to hotel. All the required documents, photos, passport copies etc. are collected for the preparation of all legal documents required during the trek. On the same day you'll be meeting your guide for the trek.

Day 02 Kathmandu (1320m) – Lukla (2840m), trekking to Phakding (2610m): After the breakfast we will be headed towards the domestic airport and after 35 minutes flight we will reach Lukla. Then our trekking starts to Phakding. It will take around 3/4 hrs walk to reach Phakding. We will be able to see the first mountain of Everest region i.e. Kusum Khangkaru (6367m). Overnight stay at Phakding.

Day 03 Phakding (2610m) – Namche Bazar (3440m): After breakfast we will be heading to Namche Bazar. We will be following Dudh Koshi which includes many bridges along the path. Then we will reach the check post and enter Sagarmatha National Park. Altogether it takes 6-7 hrs to reach Namche Bazar from Phakding. On the way we would be able to observe several villages, rivers , forests , and amazing mountain views [Mt. Thamserku(6608m), Mt. Everest(8848m) ].  This will be the first view of Mt. Everest during our trek.

Day 04 Namche Bazar(3440m) - Everest View Hotel( 3800m) – Khumjung(3780m): After breakfast we will be hading towards Everest View hotel  and on the way we will be going to National park headquarter from where we can see the panoramic view of Mt. Everest, Mt. Lhotse, Mt.Nupse, Mt. Amabdlam , Mt. Thamserku, Mt. Thauche , Mt. Kyangde etc. From the Everest view hotel also we will be seeing the same view. Then we will be heading to Khumjung village and sightseeing and overnight staying there.

Day 05 Khumjung – Monjo (2835m): We start our trek back to Monjo after our breakfast. It will take around 5-6 hrs to reach Monjo. Namche Bazar lies on the way to Monjo. 

Day 06 Monjo – Lukla (2800m): Finally this is the last day of our trek. As such, we will be heading to Lukla after breakfast. It will take around 4 -5 hrs to reach Lukla from Monjo.   

Day 07 Lukla – Kathmandu: Early in the morning after having the breakfast, we will go to Lukla airport to head back to Kathmandu. After 35 minutes flight with a scenic view of the nature, we will reach Kathmandu.

Day 08 Kathmandu – Departure: After breakfast, a Himalayan Rock Treks and Expedition responsible person will drop you to the international airport.

Trekking Equipment Checklist

  • The weather can be cold, unpredictable and challenging while in the mountains. Hence the travelers need to be prepared to cope up with the weather. While you can take the different kind of equipment to make things comfortable for you, there are some basic things that you must carry with you for completion of the trek in comfortable manner.

    Sun Hat
    Fleece/Wool hat that covers ears
    Scarf to cover face (dust/wind)

    Upper Body:
    At least 4 pair of T-shirts
    2 lightweight thermal tops
    2 Merino/Fleece long shelve tops
    Water and wind proof shell jacket
    Down Jacket
    Raincoat (Poncho)

    Lower Body:
    Under garments
    Hiking shorts
    Lightweight walking pants
    Light weight thermal leggings
    Fleece or tracksuit pants
    Water and wind proof pants

    At least 4 pairs of  thick warm wool hiking socks
    Hiking boots (with spare laces)

    Walking poles (Walking Stick)
    Lightweight fleece gloves
    Water and wind proof gloves

    Note: Sleeping bags come handy in case of difficult circumstances. We recommend every trekkers to take one with them while on the mountains. You can bring your own or it can be hired here.
